There once was a great immovable stone that stood at the edge of the worlds largest ocean. The waters continually lapped at the foot of the great stone. When the weather was right the waves would gather together, combining all of the strength their aqueous bodies could muster, and crash against the stone with terrible force. But the waves could not move the great rock. Heavy winds would blow against the rock; sometimes mighty gales would rip across its' mineral encrusted skin trying to weaken the monstrous bastion of earth. Sometimes the wind and the water would join forces building all of their energies into leviathan tempests, boiling wildly, invoking lightning and ice against the stone. Even the ground shook and heaved against the rock, it tried to shift beneath the great stone grinding and sparking as it went. Sometimes the sparks would set the forests ablaze and scorch the great rock. But despite their greatest efforts the Terran fortress stood stalwart as ever. Soon the ground calmed, the fires went out, the lightning ceased, the ice melted, and the wind faded away. After awhile the great stone looked around and wondered that there was nothing left to overcome it... and yet even as the stone wondered these things, it looked down and noticed that the waters were still lapping at its' foot. The great stone smiled to itself.
