(update 1)
i found a piece of stock to model a #3D sculpture after.
the final project kind of had an "indian" vibe to it a casual observer commented...
maybe...
it's just that word means something different to me i guess...
i thought less Samus and more Dreamcatchers and butterflies...
and of course even less the sage of the Sakyas than Aran...
birds in the sky...
that is my most powerful connection to the first nations...
this generation descended from their sky,
the ancestors of my avian friends,
lived in the sky above my ancestors...
(Update 2)
Lisa Frank...
i have this sky preset that i developed called Lisa Frank in Bryce,
it's a spectral feast that reminded me of her color style...
it brings out hidden texture...
anyway the first piece original image is rendering...
i can't wait to see it.
(Update 3)
Maybe it doesn't really remind me of Lisa Frank at all...
more like those abstract color pallets from late 80's Trapper Keepers...
Hmmm... anyway Colbert is on so i guess i should call it a night...
zzz...
(Update 4)
The render looks good...
Except that it's still a bit Super Breakout and not enough Aarkkanoid...
If you know what i mean.
(Update 5)
i added some Mandelbulber graphics and a second render from Bryce, both for some secondary textures...
running the first season of the 1960's Batman series in the background...
Molly(Jill St. John) dies a horrible death by falling into Batman's nuclear reactor...
so sad...
Did a little lighting fx and some color in Gimp...
(Update 6)
took some time away from this project to finish another one...
(Update 7)
Looked through Ton-K300's recent gallery...

Journal Stack Deletion Tutorial...
Happy fourth my friends!!!
And to my fam... stay lit!!!!!!! (Matt 5:16)
The problem... i guess...
is that i don't really get writers block, or lose inspiration as much as transmute that energy into other forms...
sometimes i kinda feel like i should be posting amazing artwork here on DeviantArt and having conversations on the forums and writing journals about whatever it is i write about...
i don't know...
it's like the time they took the jungle gym out of the park next door to my house when i was 9...
that thing was amazing...
i mean if you like to hang upside down 10 feet above old tar filled gravel and broken glass...
which i guess i do, or did when i was 9...
i would look over at the park and see other kids playing there,
The Great Stone...
There once was a great immovable stone that stood at the edge of the worlds largest ocean. The waters continually lapped at the foot of the great stone. When the weather was right the waves would gather together, combining all of the strength their aqueous bodies could muster, and crash against the stone with terrible force. But the waves could not move the great rock. Heavy winds would blow against the rock; sometimes mighty gales would rip across its' mineral encrusted skin trying to weaken the monstrous bastion of earth. Sometimes the wind and the water would join forces building all of their energies into leviathan tempests, boiling wildl
The Gumball Machine
The Gumball Machine by RiONX (https://www.deviantart.com/rionx)
Some mornings, right at dawn, i'll make my way to the gumball machine, retrieve a quarter from the depths of my left pocket, and place it in the slot. Then i'll turn the key on the gear with my right hand while holding the flap closed. I do this, even though the metal is weighted, because there is always the chance that a rouge gumball will acquire too much velocity, knock open the flap, and hit the ground before i can catch it. There is also a second reason for this, which isn't really a reason, so much, as it is an interesting game that i've invented as a diversion during the lengthy, extremely time consum
